One of the unique aspects of DESIRE is the opportunity to have a one-on-one session with a presenter on a topic of interest for you. During your individual one hour session with a presenter, you may ask questions, try new kinks as a bottom, or work on improving your topping skills. (If you want to top you'll need to bring a bottom but we are sure that there will be available volunteers if you need one!) Presenters will mentor you at your level of experience from novice to advanced.
You may share your session with 1-2 other participants as long as it's okay with the presenter. Sharing sessions may be a great way to maximize your experience with our numerous outstanding presenters.
There is a limited number of one-on-one sessions available so make sure to register early to ensure that you get one!

Selecting Your One-on-One Session
On your registration form you are asked to list your top three choices for your one-on-one sessions. Please make sure to list the topic you would like even if you are also listing a presenter. If you are interested in a specific topic but do not have a strong preference for presenter you do not need to list a presenter.
We will make every effort to accommodate your choices although it is not always possible to do so. Participants who register by the early registration deadline will be receive first priority in selecting their topic/presenter. If none of your top three choices are available we will contact you for additional selections.
How One-on-One Sessions are Assigned
Each presenter offers 5 one-on-ones sessions. For participants who register before the early bird cut off of April 1st, 2008, if there are more than 5 requests for a presenter then the participants names will go into a drawing.
If you register after April 1st, 2008, one-on-one sessions will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
If you don't get your 1st choice, we will try to accommodate your 2nd or 3rd choice. We strongly recommend that you register early in order to have the greatest chance of getting your first choice!
Frequently Asked Questions and Other Tips
What Time Will My One-on-One Session Be?
Prior to the event, one-on-one sessions are assigned but the time of the sessions are not. When you sign-in on-site the available time slots will be listed and you'll be able to select the time of your session.
If you know that you will not be arriving at DESIRE until mid-day on Saturday, please let us know and we'll make sure that at least one session with your presenter is reserved so you won't miss out.
If you know that you will be arriving in Palm Springs during the day on Friday and are interested in possibly having your one-on-one session late Friday afternoon or Friday night, please let us know as some of presenters may be available to offer a few early slots.
The Topic I'm Interested In Isn't Listed
If there is a topic that you'd like to learn about but you don't see any presenter listed as covering it let us know by emailing us at registration@desireleatherwomen.com! Although we can make no guarantees, all of our presenters are skilled players with many many talents and as a result not all topics that they could offer as a one-on-one are necessarily listed. If there is a topic that you'd like that isn't listed we will do our best to match you up with a presenter who can work with you on it.
I'm Attending DESIRE With A Friend/Lover/Play Partner/Significant Other/Etc. - How Should We Maximize Our Chances Of Getting The Presenter That We Want?
Often couples (and other groupings) really want to get a specific presenter and as a result select identical choices for their top three choices. This strategy can back-fire as it is possible that you'll end up with two sessions with the same presenter. If you are attending DESIRE with someone that you are wanting to attend your sessions with, try to select two different sets of choices so that you can get the most out of the experience.
My Partner And I Are Monogamous And Exclusive - Can I Still Participate?
Every relationship has its own boundaries and that is OKAY! You can still take advantage of the one-on-one sessions at DESIRE. Although many of the one-on-one sessions are hands on, and most find that this is an excellent way to maximize the learning experience, if you are not comfortable touching or being touched during your one-on-one, we offer many topics that are ideal for conversations rather then hands-on skills. And even if you want to learn a "fetish" topic, you can still take advantage of our presenters' skills by talking with them even if there is no actual hands-on.
